Couche-Tard celebrated the first anniversary of its management microprogram, an initiative undertaken in partnership with HEC Montréal business school in Canada, the company said in a statement. The program was designed to strengthen the skills of its Canadian teams and support their personal and professional growth.

The management microprogram included 78 members in its first cohort. The group’s efforts were a concrete illustration of the OneTeam culture, said Couche-Tard.

The impact of the management microprogram far exceeded initial expectations. The company shared testimony from the participants themselves:

“Couche-Tard and HEC offer us a superb opportunity to continue our studies while working. It is a bit demanding, I will not hide it from you, but the pride that it brings us is far greater! We have only completed the Communication Skills course and we have learned several concepts that we can immediately put into practice with our teams. We are creating bonds with colleagues whom we probably would not have had the chance to meet otherwise,” said Johannie Tremblay, district manager.

The Couche-Tard statement emphasized that the success of the program is the result of its commitment to providing its people with the right tools and making learning as flexible and accessible as possible. The company’s goal is to continue to support and celebrate each step of our teams' professional journey, offering them the best learning and development opportunities.

Earlier this month, Couche-Tard announced it completed its acquisition of TotalEnergies, resulting in the addition 2,200 service stations in four new countries.
