Brian Rutter Joins NACS as Director of Marketing

ALEXANDRIA, VA €" Brian Rutter joined NACS on July 25 as its director of marketing.
 
Rutter has a long and extensive background in marketing. Most recently, he was managing director of Thinkinghire, where he led the development and delivery of the firm's career-coaching services and oversaw the firm's marketing and communications initiatives.
 
Rutter began his career in sales and marketing with Armstrong World Industries and later Powertel. After working for a number of years in change management and communications at BearingPoint, he transitioned into brand and marketing at Delta Air Lines, where he led a $26 million marketing plan for Delta Air Lines and the SkyTeam alliance, oversaw Delta's quarterly customer satisfaction measurement program and led the company's interactive and web channel strategy and development. Later at Deloitte Consulting, Rutter led marketing consulting for a 14,000-employee agency, and co-led Deloitte's 2,000-employee practice-wide internal communications to achieve business and cultural objectives.
 
Rutter earned a B.A. in business administration from Franklin & Marshall College and an M.B.A. from Emory University. He is a resident of Washington, D.C.
