Facebook CEO Promises "Awesome" Announcement

Be on the lookout this week for some new awesomeness that Facebook is preparing to launch.

WASHINGTON - It could be an iPad app, or it could be a new music service. But whatever Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg is planning to announce this week, he promises that it will be "awesome," writes the Washington Post.

Rumor mills say that Facebook has been working on a music dashboard, which would allow users to show on their profile pages the songs they have been listening to on music sites they subscribe to, such as Pandora and Spotify.

A New York Times article wrote that Facebook is finalizing its plans to introduce a free iPad app that has been in production at Facebook for almost a year.
