YORK, PA - Rutter€™s announced earlier this week that it raised a record $110,000 for local charities at its 10th annual Rutter€™s Children€™s Charity golf outing held last week at the Out Door Country Club in York.
Over the past 10 years, the golf outing has raised over $800,000 on behalf of Rutter€™s Children€™s Charities, which benefits local children.
This year€™s two primary beneficiaries include the Easter Seals of Central Pennsylvania and the Salvation Army. The Easter Seals will use its donation to purchase a specialty equipment van to transport children with physical disabilities and developmental delays, while the Salvation Army will remodel its York-area Children€™s Learning Center, part of its after-school program.
"We look forward to this outing every year, and it€™s great to see the impact these donations have made on our communities over the last 10 years," said Rutter€™s CEO, Scott Hartman.
