Amy joined The Parker Companies in 1983, and is currently responsible for all store operations, new construction and re-image/rebranding projects, and helps in the design process for new locations for The Parker Companies. The Parker Companies owns and operates 26 retail stores in Southeast Georgia, and an oil jobbership distributing BP and Supron, the Parker proprietary brand gasoline.
Innovation is the hallmark of the Parker business strategy, exemplified by award-winning Parker’s Market Urban Gourmet. Built in a renovated turn-of-the-century automobile service station, Parker’s Market sells gourmet home-meal replacements, a southern style hot food bar, fresh baked goods, proprietary-brand flavored coffees, and over 16,000 products on the shelf, as well as gasoline, fine wine, flowers and imported gifts 24-hours a day.
Parker’s Convenience Stores are characterized by lush landscaping, stylish architecture, generous lighting and cutting-edge technology to provide an enhanced shopping experience targeted to today’s busy, time starved consumer.
Amy has served on the EPOS development team, ran a beta site for the first Ruby/Sapphire combination, beta tested and consulted for the current Helios program for Bp. Amy also served as a judge for the 2006 NPN design awards.
