Devin Bates is currently the CIO for Susser Holdings out of Corpus Christi and was most recently Managing Director and CFO of Town & Country Food Stores, Inc., where he has worked since January of 1994.  Devin graduated from Texas A&M University in 1987 with a BS in Petroleum Engineering and in 1988 with a Masters in Business Administration.  Devin spent five years with Priester Supply Co., Inc., before joining Town & Country.  Devin was one of six employees that successfully completed a management buyout of Town & Country in June, 1999. 

He is the Past Chairman of the board for the United Way of the Concho Valley and the Past Chairman of the Petroleum and Convenience Alliance for Technology Standards (PCATS).    Devin has also just been appointed as a Trustee of the San Angelo Health Foundation.  Devin served two terms on the San Angelo City Council for Single Member District 5.  Devin is also active in many community activities including the San Angelo Business and Education Coalition, The James Phillips Williams Foundation, and the First Presbyterian Church of San Angelo.  Devin and his wife, Liz, live in San Angelo, Texas.  The couple has two children.
