Tim Weston currently serves as Product Manager, Payment Technologies at Dresser Wayne. In this role, he leads the strategy and technical direction for the company’s forecourt payment systems and credit/debit security initiatives. His current focus is to champion the new product development and bring Triple-DES and PCI compliance to fuel dispensers while preserving merchandising features the retail petroleum market has come to expect. Additionally, he serves as the company’s representative to the PCI Security Standards Council as well as the ANS X9F Data & Information Security Committee, contributing to the development of the latest retail financial security and key management standards. Tim holds multiple patents and patent pending designs for encryption and authentication systems in a service station environment.

Tim’s passion for information security was cultivated during his eleven years as a Signal Corps officer in the Army Reserve and National Guard. Serving in both Military Intelligence (electronic warfare operations) and Field Artillery units, he provided leadership and oversight for the operation of encrypted communication systems in both European and desert environments. Tim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems Engineering from the University of Central Florida.
