In his product management role, Tim leads the strategy and implementation for the company’s secure payment systems and credit/debit security initiatives in North America. Additionally, he serves as the company’s representative to the PCI Security Standards Council, PCATS Data Security and ANS X9F Data & Information Security committees, contributing to the development of the latest retail financial security and data protection standards. Tim holds multiple patents and patent pending designs for encryption and authentication systems in a retail petroleum environment.

Tim’s passion for information security was cultivated during his eleven years as a Signal Corps officer in the Army Reserve and National Guard. Serving in both Military Intelligence (electronic warfare operations) and Field Artillery units, he provided leadership and oversight for the operation of encrypted communication systems in both European and desert environments. Tim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems Engineering from the University of Central Florida.
