Shekar Swamy is a familiar face to ATC customers and partners, as actively engaged with cultivating these invaluable relationships as he was seventeen years ago when he co-founded ATC. An expert in the field of remote and mobile computing, Shekar’s experience includes over twenty years in Information Technology, largely dealing with the unique challenges of developing and deploying systems for remote and mobile users in retail chains and sales forces.
Prior to co-founding ATC, Shekar served as Vice President of Client Services at Dun & Bradstreet in the Sales Technologies Division, where he helped oversee large-scale projects for corporate clients. Earlier, as National Sales Manager at TALX Corporation, he was responsible for the company’s rapid penetration into the emerging market for voice response and hand-held computer-based information delivery systems.
With the launch of ATC, Shekar’s company was an early provider of centralized retail systems management and security, with a focus on managing systems and communications at remote sites. Today, ATC is also a recognized solution provider of accelerated PCI DSS compliance, the industry mandate to better protect customer payment data.
Shekar graduated from Southern Illinois University with a BS degree in Business, and BS and MBA degrees in Systems and Management Sciences. Shekar has published numerous articles and papers in the field of information services, and is a frequent conference speaker on information delivery systems, retail security, and PCI compliance topics.
An avid photographer, Shekar has snapped pictures all around the country on his regular visits to clients and partners. He and his wife Vidya have two children, both in college.
