As the founder of Ritter & Associates LP, Bill continues to use a hands on approach and over the years has conducted over 8,000 investigations of over 40,000 employees that has led to numerous successful prosecutions and well over four million dollars in restitution to a number of companies. After serving in the Air Force Bill attended the University of Toledo, majoring in Criminal Justice. Retail loss prevention sparked his interest.  This interest, combined with his entrepreneurial spirit, led to the birth of Ritter & Associates LP. Bill continued to further hone his skills through course studies at numerous schools and seminars pertaining to retail loss prevention. He also founded the Retail Loss Investigation Institute, a company that conducts highly popular seminars aimed at District and Store Managers in the convenience store industry. These seminars focus on the prevention of loss by training field employees to control and reduce employee theft.
