Ian is a successful entrepreneur and Silicon Valley executive.  He brings 20 years of experience in high tech sales, marketing and product management with wide ranging expertise in networking, industrial automation and smart energy solutions. As the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Pedigree Technologies, Ian plays a key role in the overall creation and execution of the corporate strategy across all markets and channels.  Prior to joining Pedigree, Ian was the co-founder and the Vice President of Marketing and Solution Architecture at Apprion, a leading provider of wireless automation systems to the energy industry.  In addition to his role leading the go to market strategy at Apprion, Ian was a voting member of the ISA100 standard for industrial wireless systems. As a result of his pioneering efforts to bring new standards for performance and security he was chosen as the 2008 President of the Wireless Industrial Networking Alliance.  He has been a featured speaker and panelist at numerous conferences and industry events as well as the author of dozens of articles and white papers on the use of wireless in energy automation applications.
