Daniel Grady

Dan Grady has a strong background in retail store operations.  Dan has spent his professional career developing and deploying Retail Technology solutions.

Dan started his career as a Store Manager for First National Supermarkets (FINAST - now part of AHOLD).  He then worked at The Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company, also known as A&P for 15 years, as Manager of Store Systems, Director of Project Implementation, and VP of Business Process Integration.  He was responsible for developing and deploying retail technology initiatives, feasibility studies, detailed integrated process design, RFI's and RFP's, solution provider evaluation and selection, business case development and strategic outsourcing.  Dan has successfully implemented POS, Self- Checkout, Customer Loyalty Programs, Workforce Management, Ordering, Receiving, CBT (computer-based training), Scale Management, and ERP (SAP and Oracle / RETEK) Solutions.

In 2002, he and Frank Urbaniak established C-CORE Consulting Group to service the needs to retailers.  Their focus is on Business Strategy, Business Process optimization and Program and Project Management for retail.  They have developed a product called Rapid Project ToolkitsSM, which assist retailers in selecting solutions.  Their methodology starts with Scope and Requirements, Vendor Evaluation and Selection, and Project Management Start-ups.
They have successfully assisted many retailers in vendor selections including The Pantry, Sobeys, AMC Theatres, New York and Company, Coldwater Creek, Pittsburgh Paint, Interstate Batteries, RONA, Clearwire, and are currently working with Subway and Ritz Camera.

Dan has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing from Central Connecticut State University. He is enrolled in St. Joseph’s University’s Executive Master’s Program in Food Marketing.  Dan and his family live in Brookfield, Connecticut.
