Arkady Fridman leads business development efforts for Financial Innovations, a division within PayPal’s Corporate Development and Strategy group.  In this role, he is responsible for planning and executing next generation product initiatives through co-innovation with participants in the banking-ecosystem.

Prior to his current role, Arkady defined cool innovations which enabled solutions to launch PayPal’s open platform (X) and to transform PayPal to include products and services for financial institutions.  He was one of the first 50 employees at PayPal, and after over 11 years with the firm, Arkady has extensive experience in holistic design of global payment systems and defining design standards.

Fridman holds a B.S.B.A., Operations Management from California State University-Stanislaus.
