Edward Collupy

Ed Collupy is Vice President of Information Services, managing all of The Pantry’s systems and technology efforts company-wide.  He has more than 25 years of retail technology experience in the grocery and convenience store channels, the past 11 years focused on bringing system solutions and leading The Pantry’s technology plans through their rapid growth from 400 stores to over 1600 stores today becoming the leading independently operated convenience store chain in the southeastern United States and one of the largest independently operated convenience store chains in the country.  Ed and his team are engaged in various phases of solution selection and implementation of key initiatives that are the result of a major systems assessment leading to a multi-year roadmap that links The Pantry’s business and IT strategies. Currently, Ed serves in advisory roles on NACS Technology Council and on various PCATS efforts. Convenience Store News has named Ed their Top Tech Executive for 2008. On a personal note, Ed has helped form a non-profit organization, Share The Blessings, that has built over 10 wells and assisted hundreds of children through various educational initiatives in Uganda. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Suffolk University in Boston and recently attended the Delivering Information Services executive education program at Harvard Business School.
