In an effort to further develop a strong educational offering at the NACS Show 2009, the Committee, led by Chairman Dave Carpenter, President of J.D. Carpenter Companies, Inc. has identififed ten tracks that correspond with attendee job responsibility areas. Each track is overseen by a retailer with expertise in that area. Track Leaders are responsible for the educational content for each workshop within their track, including, but not limited to: workshop topics, facilitators, speakers, and content.

Track Leader: Gregory Parker, President/CEO, Parker's dba The Parker Companies
Greg Parker is president of The Parker Companies, headquartered in Savannah, GA. The company operates 20 convenience stores and an oil jobbership. The company also has trademarked its proprietary brand of gasoline (Supron), contracts its own construction projects and has begun to diversify into the self-serve laundromat and self-storage facility industries.

Greg is a member of the NACS Research & Development Board Committee, which directs NACS' research and development initiatives and programs to promote the ongoing competitive viability of the channel. Greg is 2004 chairman of the BP Amoco Marketers Association, chairman of the Savannah Master Plan Task Force and on the executive board of the Savannah Development and Renewal Authority. He also serves on the NACS/Coca-Cola Retailing Research Council.
