What Do Consumers Think—or Know—About Gas Prices?
Petroleum Track
Thursday, October 22 | 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM    Location: N258/N260

For each of the past three years, NACS has surveyed consumers on their perceptions about gas prices and the industry in the NACS Consumer Fuels Report. This report has enhanced a decades-long effort to improve the industry’s perception with consumers and reporters by engaging with national and local opinion leaders to educate them about convenience retailing. Learn what consumers thing about your business and what you can do to influence that perception.

What You Will Learn

  • How sensitive are consumers to price and what will they do to save a few pennies per gallon?
  • How to interact with local reporters  and why it can make a difference in your customer relations
  • Why open, honest and consistent communications with local opinion makers and leaders has made a significant difference in the way your business is perceived.
