Each year, the NACS Board of Directors Conventions and Events Committee meets to discuss and plan for the NACS Show. In an effort to further develop a strong educational offering at the NACS Show, the Committee, led by Chairman Dave Carpenter, president of J.D. Carpenter Companies Inc., has identified 10 tracks that correspond with attendee job responsibility areas. Each track is overseen by a retailer with expertise in that area. Track Leaders are responsible for the educational content for each workshop within their track, including, but not limited to: workshop topics, facilitators, speakers and content.
Sixty-six educational sessions are being offered at the NACS Show. A description of each session, including speakers and room numbers, can be located by the tracks about and in the Day-By-Day section of the on-site directory. You will need either a full or one-day convention registration badge to attend the educational and general sessions. All workshops are available on a first-come, first served basis, except where noted. Come early as seats do fill up fast. Click here or the image below for an interactive workshop schedule.

Your opinion counts! Workshop evaluations will be deployed electronically to your email address at the conclusion of each day’s programming. Your feedback of the workshop is extremely valuable in helping NACS continue to provide top-notch educational programs and to plan for future content. Each completed evaluation will be entered to win one of ten $75 Atlanta restaurant gift cards with a chance to win the grand prize of a Seagate 640 GB External Hard Drive ($180 value).
Printed workshop handouts will not be provided for any session. Attendees wishing to view a session presentation must fill out and complete the daily workshop evaluation. After completion, a link will be provided to download all of the day’s presentations. Look for NACS notebooks in front of the workshop corridor at the Las Vegas Convention Center to jot down notes. Don’t forget a pen!
Note: presentations and handouts will be available to registered NACS Show attendees only upon completion of workshop evaluations. Evaluations will be sent daily to attendee emails.
In order to enhance future educational NACS Show educational content, NACS will scan attendee badges at workshop entrances for demographic purposes only. This information will only be used to help NACS improve your workshop experience and the lists will not be shared with any outside organizations
Due to the back-to-back timing of Friday morning workshops and the closing general session, all attendees who attend a Friday morning session will be given a ticket to access guaranteed seating at the closing general session. Seat tickets will be distributed at the conclusion of the session and allows the ticket holder a seat within the Hilton ballroom.
