In an effort to further develop a strong educational offering at the NACS Show 2009, the Committee, led by Chairman Dave Carpenter, President of J.D. Carpenter Companies, Inc. has identififed ten tracks that correspond with attendee job responsibility areas. Each track is overseen by a retailer with expertise in that area. Track Leaders are responsible for the educational content for each workshop within their track, including, but not limited to: workshop topics, facilitators, speakers, and content.
Nichole Torsey is president of Redding, CA-based Mt. Counties Supply Co. After graduating from college, Torsey joined the family-owned Cross Petroleum, which today operates five distribution centers, seven cardlocks and twelve service stations. In 1996, Mt. Counties Supply Co. was founded to operate the company’s convenience store operations, and Torsey has served as its president since its inception. She also serves as vice president of human resources and risk management with Cross Petroleum.
