Roger Woodman

Mr. Woodman is primarily responsible for mergers and acquisitions and debt and equity financings for Morgan Keegan’s convenience store clients. He has successfully completed numerous transactions in the convenience store industry including the sale of Worsley Companies and Li’l Cricket Food Stores to Sun Capital Partners, the sale of Town & Country Food Stores to Susser Holdings, the sale of White Hen Pantry to 7-Eleven, Inc., the sale of Spectrum Stores to Circle K, the acquisition of Williamson Oil by Delek and a $48 million debt capital raise for ALON USA, among others.  Mr. Woodman has been a featured speaker at the NACS State of the Industry Conference, The NACS Show and Outlook. In addition, he has led many transactions in the restaurant and consumer sectors.  Mr. Woodman has over 13 years of experience advising on mergers and acquisitions transactions.  Prior to joining Morgan Keegan in 1998, he was a corporate securities attorney with Waring Cox, PLC, a Memphis-based law firm.  Mr. Woodman received his B.B.A. from Emory University, a Juris Doctorate from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law and an LL.M. in securities regulation from the Georgetown University Law Center.
