Lisa Wollan is Head of Consumer Insights & Brand Strategy for Wawa, Inc. In this capacity, she directs advertising & promotion, consumer research, package design, electronic services and new market strategy. In addition to these responsibilities, Lisa heads Wawa’s store design committee and participates in strategic planning. Her initial involvement with Wawa began in 1997 as an outside consultant and she joined the company in her present capacity in 2003.
Lisa began her marketing career with General Mills and spent five years at Kraft Foods, where she led marketing efforts for brands such as Philadelphia Brand Cream Cheese. Lisa joined Keystone Foods in 1990 as Vice President of Marketing for their Chilled Foods division and partnered with their key client McDonald’s to establish a wide range of product development and marketing programs.
She worked for three years as an independent consultant and completed projects in India, Argentina and Uruguay.
Lisa received her bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Ripon College and her MBA from Cornell University’s Johnson School of Management. She is on the board of the Philadelphia Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
