Jim Wisner has spent over 30 years in the food and drug industry as a Vice-president at Jewel Food Stores, Shaw's Supermarkets, and at Topco Associates and Willard Bishop Consulting before starting the Wisner Marketing Group in 1999.
Jim is the principal author and developer of several industry-wide research and education programs in private label and other topics including Center Store Renewal: Leveraging Private Label to Drive Growth, The Private Label Boot Camp for Buyers, Merchandising for Success, Multicultural Marketing, and Store Brands and the Self-Care Consumer, among others. Wisner Marketing Group is currently developing a comprehensive Private Label Information and Resource Center for the Private Label Manufacturers Association to be launched this fall.
Jim received his BBA degree in Marketing from the University of Notre Dame and his MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. He is an Adjunct Faculty Member in the Private Label Executive Education Program at St. Josephs University and Shanghai Jiao Tong University in China.
