Jerry Weinberger, Inc. 

Mr. Weinberger has been responsible for Customer Care organizations for well over 20 years. He has run single or multi-site Care operations for some powerhouse companies like Federal Express, MCI and Fleet Bank. During his tenure with those companies, his leadership resulted in sustained service levels and customer satisfaction ratings among the best in the industry.

While at Federal Express, Mr. Weinberger was part of the team that submitted the year-long application to the US Government that resulted in FedEx winning the coveted Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. He spent the following year traveling around the country as part of this team speaking to other companies on what it takes to win this award. While at MCI, he was selected as one of the few employees to appear in numerous TV commercials as part of the “MCI People” advertising campaign. His four Customer Care centers also won numerous national “Top Center” awards in the areas of Quality, Sales and Service.

Most recently before joining Kajeet, Mr. Weinberger was part of the launch team for Virgin Mobile, USA. After helping to launch Customer Care for Virgin Mobile in 2002, he ran Operations for Customer Care in the Spokane, Washington Care center. Over the next four years, he opened up three additional sites in Colorado Springs, CO, Lake City, FL and a bilingual center in Nogales, AZ. From launch, Virgin Mobile’s Care organization achieved customer satisfaction levels that their 3rd party monitoring organization said were higher than they had ever seen for a start-up company. This dedicated focus on quality was not only sustained throughout his 4+ years with the company, it resulted in Virgin Mobile’s Care Operations winning the JD Power Award for Call Center Excellence. Virgin Mobile, USA was also ranked number 1 in JD Power’s first Wireless Company Satisfaction Study for pre-paid wireless carriers. PC Magazine also ranked VMU’s Customer Care #1 for two years straight.

Mr. Weinberger attended both Illinois State University and the University of Maryland, studying Business Management and Mass Communications. He holds numerous certifications in the Call Center world, and was an inaugural member of the Board of Directors for the Call Center Industry Advisory Council (CIAC).
