Chris Tampio

At NACS, Chris is responsible for lobbying a variety of issues. Chris handles the labor, tax, finance, appropriations, immigration, health care and small business issues. He works closely with NACS members in developing and advancing pro-growth policy positions on Capitol Hill and in the Administration for the convenience and petroleum retailing industry.

Chris has been working as a lobbyist in Washington, DC for more than a dozen years. Prior to joining NACS, he was director of Human Resource Policy at the National Association of Manufacturers. He also worked in government relations at the National Restaurant Association and the International Mass Retail Association, now named (RILA).

Tampio received his bachelor's degree in history with a concentration in political science from the State University of New York – Oswego. He lives in Alexandria with his wife Christine and his twin boys, Jacob and Adam.
