Stewart Spinks is the Founder and CEO of The Spinx Company. He started the Spinx Oil Company in 1972 with a home heating oil delivery company and one gas station in Greenville, SC. Stewart is a board member of the National Association of Convenience Stores and has served on their Coca-Cola Leadership Council. He also serves the industry as Board Member and Committee Chairman of the Society of Independent Gasoline Marketers Association. Stewart serves as a past Chairman of the Greater Greenville Chamber of Commerce and is currently a trustee for Furman University, and a Board member for several community organizations in Upstate, SC. Stewart earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from the University of Tennessee in 1968. He enjoys flying and is an instrument rated pilot with over 5,000 hours logged since 1981. Stewart enjoys spending time with his wife, four (4) sons and their families including seven (7) grandchildren.
