Dennis L. Ruben is head of NRC’s financial services group. He joined NRC in 2004 with over 25 years of legal experience with an emphasis on commercial real estate and finance matters. Prior to joining NRC, Mr. Ruben served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel of GE Capital Franchise Finance Corporation, a $10 billion business unit of GE Capital, and its predecessor, Franchise Finance Corporation of America, a NYSE real estate investment trust specializing in the restaurant and convenience store industries. During his tenure at GE Capital, Mr. Ruben was responsible for all legal matters pertaining to real estate acquisition, loan origination and the structuring of all major financing transactions, as well as all real estate and loan workouts and restructures.

Mr. Ruben obtained his Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Arts Degrees from the University of Iowa. He is a member of several State Bars, multiple Bar Associations, the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Turnaround Management Association. Mr. Ruben has participated as a speaker and panelist for the Strategic Research Institute and the Practicing Law Institute.
