John Mark (JM) Reimann is the VP of Business Development for Buddy’s Kitchen, a specialty foods copacker in Minneapolis that creates custom food items for convenience store, food retail, national branded and travel industries. Buddy’s has helped c-stores build differentiated food service programs to strengthen their appeal to customers, create stronger loyalty and increase customers’ spend per visit.
After graduating from the US Naval Academy, JM served in the Naval Submarine Force for 8 years. He then spent 9 years at Ecolab, including roles leading marketing and business development teams to strengthen the food safety and quality programs across the convenience store, food service and food and beverage industries. He built Ecolab’s Food Supply Chain consulting business, helping food and beverage operators enhance their safety and quality programs through the Global Food Safety Initiative. He also lead a joint development project with the National Restaurant Association, creating a global food safety offering based on the ServSafe® food safety training and certification program.
JM holds an MBA at the University of Colorado. He and his wife Trish have four children and live in Eagan, Minnesota.
