David Portalatin has spent the past 15 years studying consumer purchase patterns and identifying trends in consumer behavior.  Working with a diverse range of companies including major oil companies, convenience store chains, and consumer packaged goods manufacturers, David has developed a keen understanding of consumer behavior in the convenience retailing marketplace.  David shares the insights gained through this experience by frequently speaking at conferences and corporate meetings.   David assists manufacturers and retailers in integrating information into the decision-making process and applications relevant to the industry.

David lives in Cypress, TX just outside of Houston with his wife and four children.
