Samer Odeh
President
Power Mart Corp. dba Power Mart

Sam Odeh is the Founder and CEO of Power Buying Dealers USA, Power Mart Corporation and GEACC. He is responsible for the Vision, Plans, Industry outlook and Innovations in the alternative renewable fuels and retail petroleum operations worldwide.

Mr. Odeh’s formal education ended with a high school level diploma in the City of Chicago, and his remaining education was in the Mobil Oil downstream retail operations and franchisee world were he began to truly hone his skill sets for the industry. Sam began his new life in the petroleum sector in 1985 with the two retail sites, and continued his entrepreneurship into the family business with Mobil Oil. Mr. Odeh served the immediate family sites (5), in total in the Chicago area for 3 years.
In 1987, Mr. Odeh was elected by Mobil Oil to be a Dealer Advisory Board Member in the Chicago area. The purpose of the Advisory Board was to assist the oil company in improving the relationship and total quality management of its business with its franchisees. In 1989, Mr. Odeh formed an entity known as Power Buying Dealers USA, Inc (“PBD USA”). As noted, PBD USA addressed a growing concern within the convenience store industry – the need for c-store representation before local and national product vendors. At its inception, PBD USA coordinated the in-store merchandising for a handful of independently owned or operated convenience stores.

In 2000, Mr. Odeh began considering trends within the c-store industry (delivery systems, local representation of national vendors, incentive systems provided by national vendors, and the like) and realized another opportunity lay in innovative c-store design and service integration. He envisioned an industry where the leading chains would integrate and market services beyond existing traditional food/beverage and gasoline retailing to create vertical and horizontal efficiencies. Horizontal efficiencies would address an integration of evolving convenience industry services (ranging from QSRs (i.e., quick-serve restaurants) and car wash services to loyalty and credit card programs), and vertical efficiencies that would consider a further integration of the currently separate manufacturing, distribution and retailing functions within the c-store industry. With this vision in mind, Mr. Odeh formed the Power Mart group of Companies.

Beginning with the formation of Power Mart Corporation (“Power Mart”) in 2001, Mr. Odeh set about building a flagship company which would address existing deficiencies within the c-store marketplace. In essence, PMC’s focus was upon the future. And to date, Power Mart has spent well in excess of $300,000 securing intellectual property, franchise and trademark rights for its unique products and services (e.g., “in-store” delivery and merchandising systems, innovative fixtures, data sensitive pump advertising, “POWER” and “BOLT” branded fuels, C-store service marks, and more).
