Elaine Levin is Vice President, Financial Advisor, Futures Specialist, Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. She is based in Washington DC.  Elaine has 21 years of experience in working with oil companies, energy producers and consumers of fuel executing hedging strategies using futures and options.  Elaine is a full service financial advisor who offers instruction to her customers, giving them an understanding of the tools used in risk management. 
 
Ms. Levin shows energy hedgers how to apply hedging principles, and has been featured at many industry association meetings.  These organizations include SIGMA, NATSO, New Jersey Fuel Merchants Association, Western Petroleum Marketers Association Operators, and fuel distributor groups throughout the country.  She has been a regular speaker at OPIS conferences, including Fleet Fueling and Risk Management workshops.  For the past 9 years, she has taught Fuel Management University (FMU) for OPIS.  FMU is a 3 day in-depth class on fuel hedging.
 
Current customers include: producers of both oil and gas, gasoline marketers seeking to protect their retail margins, diesel distributors offering fixed and capped prices to their customers and end users of energy trying to stay within a budget. 

Elaine graduated from Marymount University in Virginia summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in finance.
