Mr. Landry is a partner of Trefethen & Co., head of the firm’s Investment Banking practice, and responsible for advising clients on a broad range of transactions including (i) confidential M&A transactions, (ii) corporate finance transactions, and (iii) crisis management and restructuring transactions. Mr. Landry has also served as Acting CEO and/or Chief Restructuring Officer for various distressed clients and has identified and implemented strategies to improve operational and financial performance, enhance customer and product profitability, rationalize operating assets, and optimize capital structures through new financing and/or restructuring of existing indebtedness .
Prior to joining T&C, Mr. Landry was a senior executive and majority equity holder at Dairy Mart Convenience Stores, Inc. ("Dairy Mart"), a multi-unit retailer that was acquired by Alimentation Couche-Tard ("ACT") in August 2002. During his tenure, in which Dairy Mart grew from approximately 200 stores to over 1,300 stores, Mr. Landry served in various roles including President and Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer.
Prior to joining Dairy Mart, Mr. Landry performed Financial Advisory and Business Assurance Services to various clients while at PriceWaterhouseCoopers. Mr. Landry is a Certified Public Accountant. He received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Degree (Summa Cum Laude) from Western New England College, has attended the Executive MBA program at the University of Massachusetts and has served on the adjunct faculty of Western New England College as an instructor in corporate finance.
Mr. Landry has also served on the Board of Directors or otherwise volunteered his services to various charitable organizations.
