Jim Gentry manages GasAmerica’s fuel purchasing and hedging through which the company regularly purchases pipeline quantities of gasoline and diesel.  He began as Director of Policy and Resource Development in the Indiana Energy Office during the oil embargo years of the late 1970s. and throughout the 1980s, Jim served as Manager of Product Supply and Distribution for Rock Island Refining Corp. In 1990 Jim became Regional Sales Manager for Coastal Refining Corp. Following 6 years in that position, he served for 5 years as Ohio Valley Region Manager for Koch Refining. He joined GasAmerica in 1999 and has been responsible for negotiating for and purchasing over 10 million gallons of petroleum products sold through GasAmerica monthly.
