Julie Fields is Manager of Government Relations for the National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS) where she represents the association before Congress and the Administration on a wide range of issues including renewable fuels, health care, and food service and nutrition. She analyzes legislation, develops policy and political strategies, and works with the membership and other organizations to achieve favorable outcomes on issues affecting the petroleum and retailing industry. Fields joined the association in 2007.
Prior to joining NACS, Fields served as Special Assistant to the Deputy Staff Director for the House Energy and Commerce Committee. She also worked for Senator Saxby Chambliss (R-GA) from 2003-2004. She is a graduate of Auburn University and is originally from Columbus, GA.
