Rick Cosmer

Rick started in the oil industry back in 1977 working in company operations for Union 76 on the west coast. He held various positions within the company during his 26 year association with that brand. All of his tenure with 76 was spent on the sales or marketing side of the business including managing over 500 direct serve dealer locations that stretched from Los Angeles County to the Mexican boarder.

In 1996 Union 76 was purchased by Tosco Marketing Company, who at that time owned the Circle K brand and included being a jobber for the Exxon brand. During his tenure with Tosco he was Vice President of Automotive Services, Car Wash and Retail Lubricants for the US. When Tosco was purchased by Phillips Petroleum Rick went out on his own as a consultant to various car wash manufacturers, independent service station operators and chemical companies. Rick's consulting included new product development and new business development. After he closed his consulting business he went to work at Valero Energy Company covering the states of Texas, Colorado, Wyoming, Utah and Arizona establishing and growing the Valero and Shamrock brands through my staff and sales team.

Today Rick is  responsible for managing the day to day operation as well as developing and managing the retail growth for Mansfield. We are a diverse organization working with our fuel’s only customers, dealer organization and consignment stores. Not only do we offer branded and unbranded fuel options but we also have an extensive program that supports all of our operators on how to improve their inside store sales with ties to fuel sales. Mansfield’s Retail offering is designed to improve profitability at all levels of an operators business, big or small, and to be a one stop shop.
