Beth Boggs

Beth C. Boggs is the managing partner of Boggs, Boggs & Bates, L.L.C. She received her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Southern Illinois University School of Law, where she was a member of the Law Journal staff. Ms. Boggs received her Bachelor of Arts from Governors State University in University Park, Illinois. Ms. Boggs is a member of Phi Kappa Phi honor society.

Ms. Boggs concentrates her practice in tort litigation. She has extensive experience handling a wide variety of litigation including medical negligence, general negligence, premises liability and insurance disputes. Her trial experience includes the defense of wrongful death, medical malpractice, automobile negligence, transportation defense, civil rights defense, ERISA and premises liability matters. She also routinely handles labor relations matters for management.

Ms. Boggs is an adjunct professor at Webster University in St. Louis, teaching Health Care Law. Ms. Boggs is admitted to practice law in the state and federal courts of Missouri and Illinois. She is a frequent speaker and author on insurance and legal/medical topics. Ms. Boggs served as a vice-chair of the A.B.A. Law and Medicine Section and Corporate Counsel Committee. She has published articles in the S.I.U. Law Journal, the Illinois Bar Journal, The Journal of the Missouri Bar and the ABA Magazine: Coverage.

Ms. Boggs' professional affiliations include the Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers, the American Bar Association, Tort & Insurance Section and Health Care Law Section, the Missouri Bar, the Illinois State Bar Association, the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, the Lawyers Association of St. Louis, the Women Lawyers Association, the St. Clair County Bar Association, The National Association of Insurance Women, Risk & Insurance Management Society and Defense Research Institute. She is profiled in Who's Who in American Law, Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the World and International Who's Who of Professionals. She has been recognized as one of the "Outstanding Women of the Twentieth Century." She was also recognized as a "Businessman of the Year" for 2001. She was listed in Who's Who of American Women for the year 2003.
