What is the NACS Show?
The NACS Show provides the most comprehensive representation of products and services for the convenience and fuel retailing industry. Retailers come to the NACS Show to discover proven ideas and strategies that enable them to increase sales, attract new customers, build their brand and improve their bottom line. Suppliers exhibit at the Show to establish a presence in the convenience channel, obtain sales leads, increase product exposure and introduce new products. Last year, almost 24,000 people attended the NACS Show from over 60 countries and more than 1,200 companies exhibited. For more information visit About the NACS Show.

When and Where is the NACS Show?
The 2016 NACS Show will be held October 18-21, 2016 at the Georgia World Congress Center, Atlanta, Georgia, USA.

What is the schedule of events?

What are the Exhibit Hall Hours?
Wednesday, October 19            11:30 am – 5:30 pm

When is the Opening General Session?
The Opening General Session will take place on Tuesday, October 18 from 12:30 pm – 1:45 pm at the Georgia World Congress Center. Speaker information can be found here.

When is the Closing General Session?
The Closing General Session will take place on Friday, October 21 from 8:00 am – 9:00 am at the Georgia World Congress Center. Speaker information can be found here.

Is smoking allowed inside the Georgia World Congress Center?
Smoking of tobacco products will not be permitted in the NACS Show exhibit hall. Designated outdoor smoking areas will be available.

Vaping (usage of electronic cigarettes or personal vaporizers) will be allowed within the product manufacturer’s booth space only. Vaping is not permitted in the aisles of the exhibit hall, or in general public space of the facility.

Is the NACS Show wheelchair-accessible?
Absolutely. Scootaround, Inc. offers onsite rentals of mobility scooters, wheelchairs, PowerChairs and oxygen equipment. It is strongly encouraged to reserve your mobility equipment in advance. It willl be delivered to your Atlanta area hotel. Daily and weekly rates are available with operators on call seven days a week at (888) 441-7575, or visit scootaround.com/rentals.htm.

What is the cost to attend the NACS Show?
Registration fees vary depending on your category of registration. Visit Attendee Badge Registration for detailed information.

What is the registration deadline?
The Advance registration deadline is October 7, 2016 – after this date you must register onsite (and pay the onsite registration fees).

Do I have to be a NACS member to attend?
You do not have to be a NACS member to attend the Show. However, members do receive discounted registration rates. For more information on NACS Membership visit NACS Membership.

Can spouses attend the NACS Show?
Yes, all spouses are welcome to attend. They can register as a spouse and pay the appropriate attendee rate. Visit Attendee Badge Registration for detailed information.

What is the cancellation policy?
All badge cancellations must be received in writing and emailed to NACSregistration@itnint.com. All badge cancellations received on or before September 16, 2016 will be assessed a $25 administrative fee. After September 16, 2016 the full amount of the registration fee will be forfeited. Registrations can be transferred to another person within your company at any time without penalty. If you receive your badge credentials, prior to cancelling your registration, you must return your badge credentials back to NACS prior to the refund being issued.

Can I share my badge with another attendee or exhibitor?
Attendees & exhibitors may NOT exchange, give, trade or sell their NACS Show badge to anyone. Anyone found in violation of this policy will be immediately removed from the convention and no refund for registration fees paid will be provided. Exhibitors caught sharing or purchasing exhibitor badges for retailer/buyer attendees will lose all exhibiting priority points for 2016 (maximum 8 points).

Are government rates available?
No, we do not offer government rates to attend the Show.

 

 Prepare

 

​How can I make a hotel reservation?
NACS Show Housing is open! Visit NACS Show Housing for hotel options and to secure your accommodations.

Do you offer shuttle service to the NACS Show?
Yes, shuttle service will be provided to and from the Georgia World Congress Center to most hotels in the NACS Show housing block, with the exception of those hotels in close proximity to the GWCC that are considered “walk hotel”.  A schedule of shuttle dates and times will be available at a later date.

What should I wear?
The average temperatures in Atlanta during the month of October range from 72 degrees during the day to 52 degrees in the evening.  Business/business casual attire and comfortable walking shoes are recommended in educational sessions and the exhibit hall.  For the NACS Kick-Off Party, business/business casual attire is recommended.  For other evening events, please contact the hosting company regarding attire.

How can I obtain a list of attendees?
An online attendee directory, which allows you to search by last name, company, title and region, will be available in September. A mailing list of 2016 NACS Show attendees is only available to current exhibitors. Exhibitors should refer to the Exhibitor Services Kit (available in July) for an order form.

Are there special airline discounts available?
NACS has partnered with Delta Airlines to provide our attendees up to a 10% discount on all Full/Non Restricted fares and up to a 5% discount on all Discounted/Restricted fares. Discounts are valid for US and Canada originating passengers only. Valid travel dates are October 13-26, 2016.  You can book your reservation using the Delta website or by calling Delta Reservations.

Reservations and ticketing are available via www.delta.com/meeting.  Select Book A Trip (at the top of the page) and this will bring you to the Book A Flight page. Enter the meeting event code, NMNV4, in the box provided.

By Phone
Reservations may also be made by calling Delta Meeting reservations at 800-328-1111 Mon-Fri 7am-7pm CDT. Please make sure to reference code NMNV4 when making your reservation so you can be sure to take advantage of the discounts provided. Please note there is a reservation service charge for all tickets issued by phone.

Yes! Our information booth will be located in Hall B near the spiral staircase. The hours of operation for the information booth will be:

I’ve never been to Atlanta before! Where should I eat?
Atlanta has a thriving dining scene. For many of the restaurants, it’s best to make your reservations ahead of time. Please visit the Dining Section of Atlanta.net for more information. They focus on dining within the five main neighborhood areas: Downtown, Midtown, Buckhead, Westside, and Eastside. You can also check out the Dining Blogs on Atlanta.net.  Exhibit

 

How can I exhibit and purchase a booth?
Booth reservations open for NACS and PEI members in February 2016 are based on priority points earned. View exhibiting details.

Are children allowed on the Show floor?
Children 16 and older must be registered as an attendee for admission into the exposition. Children 15 and younger do not need to be registered in order to visit the Show floor, however a waiver form must be completed for each person age 15 or under. The waiver form will be available onsite at registration or near the entrances into the Show floor. All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times while on the Show floor. During the active construction zone of move-in and move-out, absolutely no one under the age of 16 (including infants) will be allowed in the exhibit hall during installation and dismantle hours (October 14-18, October 21-23).

Are complimentary badges offered to prospective exhibitors?
No, you must purchase a full registration to attend the NACS Show. For more information on exhibiting at the NACS Show visit Exhibitor Information.

What is the cancellation policy?
Booth cancellations must be sent in writing via e-mail to the appropriate exhibit account manager at NACS. Cancellation Penalty fees will be assessed based on the date of cancellation per the NACS Show Terms and Conditions.
