What is the cost to attend the NACS Show?

Registration fees vary depending on your business type and your NACS member status.

What is included with my registration?

Full Conference Registration: Includes access to all general sessions, education sessions, expo and the NACS Show Kick-Off Party taking place on Tuesday, October 17 from 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm at the Museum of Science and Industry. Note: You must be 21 years of age or older to attend the Kick-Off Party.

One Day Registration:

  • Wednesday One Day - Includes access to all education sessions, general session, expo on Wednesday and the NACS Show Kick-Off Party taking place on Tuesday, October 17 from 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm at the Museum of Science and Industry. Note: You must be 21 years of age or older to attend the Kick-Off Party.
  • Thursday One Day - Includes access to all education sessions, general session and expo on Thursday.
  • Friday One Day - Includes access to the general session and expo on Friday.

What is the registration deadline?

For the lowest possible rate, be one of the first 2,000 attendees to register! Our Best Save rate applies to the first 2,000 who register. When they’re gone, they’re gone. The regular registration deadline is October 6, 2017 – after this date onsite fees apply.

Do I have to be a NACS member to attend?

You do not have to be a NACS member to attend the NACS Show. However, members do receive discounted registration rates. For more information about NACS membership visit NACS Membership.

Do I qualify to attend?

During the registration process, those registering as an Attendee: Retailer/Fuel Marketer; Convenience Distributor or Fuel Marketer/Fuel Marketer whose company is not currently a NACS member, will be prompted to upload a copy of their company’s business license or provide their company’s URL to show proof of retailer/buyer status. Those registering as a Convenience Distributor or Fuel Marketer/Jobber, whose company is not currently a NACS member, must provide a copy of their business license or company URL. If NACS finds that you do not qualify as an Attendee: Retailer/Fuel Marketer; Convenience Distributor or Fuel Marketer/Fuel Marketer for the NACS Show, based on the descriptions listed below, we reserve the right to change your registration to a non-exhibiting supplier attendee and charge the applicable fee. If you do not fall into one of the categories listed below, you must register as an Attendee: Non-Exhibiting Supplier Full Conference at the appropriate rate.

  • Retailer/Fuel Marketer –Owner/operator of retail store(s) in convenience or non-convenience (drug, mass, grocery, dollar store, specialty store, micro market, etc.) formats. (may also market fuel products to convenience stores).
  • Convenience Distributor –Distributes, but does not manufacture, a full line of products such as tobacco, confectionery, general merchandise, dry grocery, and frozen or perishable items for resale by convenience retailers. The typical convenience distributor provides delivery, credit, sales representation, and other value-added services to convenience retailers. Companies that manufacture and distribute their own products do not qualify as buyers and must register as Exhibitors and/or Non-Exhibiting Suppliers.
  • Fuel Marketer/Jobber –Wholesaler of fuel; does not operate retail stores.

How do I register as Media?

All media requesting credentials for the 2017 NACS Show must be approved by providing any of the following during the online registration process. Registrations submitted without the appropriate documentation may be denied.

  • Your company URL
  • A business card with name, editorial title and media outlet’s logo
  • A copy of the masthead, which clearly displays your name and editorial title
  • A bylined industry-related article written and published within the last 12 months

What does it mean if my registration is pending?

It means that the NACS registration staff is reviewing your registration for approval. We will get back to you with your registration status via email within two business days. In some cases, you may receive an email with a link to provide additional information. Please complete the requested information as soon as possible for timely approval.

Can spouses attend the NACS Show?

Yes, all spouses are welcome to attend. They can register as a spouse/significant other and pay the appropriate attendee rate. More information to come when registration opens.

What is the Cancellation Policy?

In the event you must cancel your registration, you must inform NACS in writing via email to NACS@experient-inc.com. Cancellations received on or before September 15, 2017 will be assessed a $25 administrative fee. After September 15, 2017, the full registration fee will be forfeited. No refunds will be given after this date under any circumstances. Transfer of registration to another person within your company may be done at any time without penalty.

How do I make a change to my registration or send someone in my place?

Name change requests must be submitted in writing by email to NACS@experient-inc.com. Change requests received by October 7, 2017 will be confirmed in advance of the NACS Show. After October 7, changes must be made onsite.

When will I receive a confirmation?

A confirmation will be emailed to each attendee once the registration has been processed. Please make sure to include a valid e-mail address to receive your confirmation. If you do not receive a confirmation via email within 24 hours, please check your spam filters.

How do I pick-up my badge?

Badges will not be mailed in advance of the NACS Show. Attendees can pick-up their badges onsite at several locations. More information about how to pick-up your badge onsite will be provided closer to the event and at nacsshow.com. Photo ID, with name that matches your badge name, will be required to pick-up your badge onsite. In the event you lose or misplace your badge after picking it up onsite, you will incur a $100 reprint fee for the first reprint. If an additional reprint is needed, the full onsite registration cost will be charged.

Can children attend the NACS Show?

Children age 16 and older must be registered as an Attendee for admission into the exposition. Children age 15 and younger do not need to be registered in order to visit the Show floor. All children 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times while on the Show floor. Absolutely no one under the age of 16—including infants--will be allowed on the Show floor during move in and move out hours. A child waiver form must be completed for any child 15 or under to access the exhibit hall. Child Waiver forms will be available onsite in the main NACS Show registration area as well as at Expo Hall security locations throughout the convention center. Limited to two children age 15 and under per paying attendee.

Can I share my badge with another attendee or exhibitor?

Attendees & exhibitors may NOT exchange, give, trade or sell their NACS Show badge to anyone. Anyone found in violation of this policy will be immediately removed from the convention and no refund for registration fees paid will be provided. Exhibitors caught sharing or purchasing exhibitor badges for retailer/buyer attendees will lose all exhibiting priority points for 2017 (maximum 8 points).

Are government rates available?

No, we do not offer government rates to attend the Show.


Consent for the Use of Photographic Images: By attending the 2017 NACS Show, you consent to the use of your image and/or name by NACS in/on any marketing materials, registered publication, video, broadcast and cable media without charge or obligation.
