Off Premise Training for Intervention Procedures Program (TIPS®) is a program for serving, selling and consuming alcohol responsibly. Customized for NACS to fit any size business, the TIPS® certification program will be led by Tara Paster of Paster Training, Inc.  This program is recognized as an effective risk reduction program by federal, state and local jurisdictions and meets or exceeds requirements for local regulatory compliance. The TIPS® certification will be valid for three years in most states upon passing the final exam.  Class size is limited to 50 participants and pre-registration is required. Walk-in attendees will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis.

What You Will Learn

  • Provides techniques for the responsible selling of alcohol
  • Explains the legal ramifications of selling alcohol including the role of the state liquor regulatory authority, alcohol laws and regulations
  • Focuses on selling guidelines for handling difficult situations and working with law enforcement.
  • Use proven strategies to prevent alcohol-related problems and handle alcohol-related situations with greater confidence.
