Neerja Sehgal Kathuria Joins NACS as Vice President, International and Industry Analytics 

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — Neerja S. Kathuria joined NACS on April 1 as its vice president of international and industry analytics.

In this position, Kathuria oversees CSX LLC (CStoreXchange), the convenience and petroleum retailing industry’s largest purpose-built, online database of financial and operating data in the industry. More than one-fifth of the top 100 convenience store chains in the United States currently use CSX for benchmarking of monthly industry trends. She also is responsible for the association’s international initiatives, including its Global State of the Industry (SOI) and individual international SOI initiatives, and programming for the NACS Global and International Forums.

Kathuria has 14 years of global consumer products and retail experience, including driving strategic business growth in markets in the United States, Japan, China, Brazil, Mexico, Europe and India. Prior to joining NACS she was senior manager of sales and intermediary analysis and reporting for Marriott International Inc. Prior to that, she spent 12 years with Anheuser-Busch Inc. where she most recently was director of retail business solutions, sales and market analysis. Kathuria also served as the senior key account manager responsible for Anheuser-Busch’s international Wal-Mart Team, senior manager of category management for Anheuser-Busch’s Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club team and global business analyst for Asia and South America, among other positions.

Kathuria earned a B.S. in business administration and a post-graduate diploma in international marketing from the University of Delhi, and an M.S. in management information systems and M.B.A. in marketing from Northern Illinois University. She and her husband reside in Potomac, Maryland.
