Don McMillan Announced as NACStech 2010 Speaker

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — Professional comedian and motivator Don McMillan has been announced as a keynote speaker for  NACStech 2010, the premiere technology solutions event for the convenience and petroleum retailing industry. NACStech 2010 will take place May 5-7, 2010, in New Orleans, Louisiana. 

McMillan will weave his technical experience with his humor in an engaging Opening General Session talk. AT&T Bell Laboratories he helped design the world’s first 32-bit microprocessor. He also worked in Silicon Valley designing computer chips; many of his designs are still in use today.

McMillan is best known for his stand-up comedy and television appearances. He was named grand champion for his comedy on Star Search in 1993 and has appeared on shows including The Tonight Show and Evening at The Improv. In addition, he has done numerous industry-related commercials for 7-Eleven, Little Caesar’s and Anheuser-Busch, starring in more than a dozen commercials as the Budweiser delivery man who protects the world from “skunky beer.” He currently has two popular management-related videos on YouTube.

Kevin, Mitnick, often called “the world’s most famous former hacker,” will deliver the Closing General Session presentation at NACStech 2010.

More than 1,200 attendees are expected for NACStech, which features nearly 100 exhibits. Registration is now available at nacstech.com.

The U.S. convenience store industry, with more than 146,000 stores across the country, posted $575 billion in total sales in 2010, of which $385 billion were motor fuels sales.
