NACS 2009 Ideas 2 Go DVD Now Available

LAS VEGAS The NACS 2009 Ideas 2 Go DVD is now available for purchase.

The DVD features the 41-minute Ideas 2 Go presentation that was shown in today’s General Session at the NACS Show. It can be purchased at the NACS Center during the NACS Show or can be ordered after the event.

While every store is different, several themes are clear,” noted Jeff Miller, president of Norfolk, Virginia-based Miller Oil Co. Inc., in introducing the Ideas 2 Go presentation at the NACS Show. “Using design to dazzle customers. Perfecting the one-stop shopping offer. Being green to reduce costs -- or promote sustainability. Developing and cultivating a community feel to operations. And raising the bar on foodservice, whether adding new services or offering truly exceptional meals,” he noted. The DVD “may give you new perspectives on how you can execute these ideas in your stores,” Miller added.

Since 1994, NACS’ Ideas 2 Go has provided a fast-paced video tour of some of the most interesting, creative and potentially profitable ideas in the convenience and petroleum retailing industry.

For 2009, featured stores/companies were:

  • BioFuel Oasis
  • Boyett Petroleum (dba Cruisers)
  • Chevron Corp. (dba Chevron ExtraMile)
