NACS Show Registration Opens April 1

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — Attendee and housing registration opens April 1 for the NACS Show, which will take place October 20 to 23, 2009, in Las Vegas.

Attendees will be able to register for the NACS Show and book housing at www.nacsshow.com.

The NACS Show is focused on giving attendees more opportunities to find the right products, meet the right people and learn the right strategies that will help their businesses thrive. Attendees will be able to:

  • See new products and trends. Retailers will be able to explore new products and trends from some 1,200 exhibitors on the expo floor, including 20 percent who are new to the NACS Show.
  • Take back new ideas. Each of the nearly 60 workshops has been customized for specific job functions. Tracks in store operations, category management, senior management, petroleum, technology, foodservice and professional development will focus on retailers’ most-pressing needs and deliver strategies and ideas.
  • Make new contacts. Whether in workshops, on the expo floor or in new networking events, retailers will find new ways to establish connections with peers and industry leaders.

As the NACS Show nears, www.nacsshow.com will feature the latest information about exhibitors, new products, guest speakers, workshops and networking events. In August, the NACS Show Connect Internet portals will go live, allowing retailer registrants to link with fellow attendees or exhibitors. NACS Show Connect was used by more than 80 percent of NACS Show attendees in 2008 to match buyers with qualified exhibitors and relevant Show activities.

NACS and the Petroleum Marketers Association of America (PMAA) will once again extend their strategic alliance around the NACS Show that includes PMAA-branded sessions. The Petroleum Equipment Institute (PEI) and NACS will also continue their strategic alliance for a combined Show, which was introduced at the NACS Show in 2002 in Orlando.

Full registration, which includes admission to the general sessions, workshops, expo and the Welcome Reception, is $275 for NACS members and $425 for all other attendees. This rate is available through August 31. Other rates apply for one-day registration or expo-only registration. Exhibitor registration will be available in June.

By registering online and as early as possible attendees receive the maximum discounted rate available. Plus, attendees can save time and avoid long lines by receiving their badges and Show materials in advance of the event.

In 2008, 21,303 attendees found information, trends and connections at the convenience and petroleum retailing industry’s signature event. In addition to more than three dozen workshops and three days of general session presentations, 1,194 exhibitors displayed new products and services spread out over 381,900 net square feet of expo space.
