LAS VEGAS – Prior to heading home from the NACS Show 2006, the NACS Board of Directors announced the 2006-2007 Executive Committee at the group’s meeting on October 11.
Sam Turner, president of Calfee Co. of Dalton Inc., takes the helm as the NACS 2006-2007 Chairman and also serves as chairman of the Executive Committee, which provides strategic direction and financial oversight to the association.
The Board of Directors also announced the retail members who will serve as officers on the Executive Committee:
- Richard Oneslager, CEO of Denver, Colorado-based Balmar Petroleum/First Hand Management LLC, who was elected treasurer
- Sonja Hubbard, CEO of Texarkana, Texas-based E-Z Mart Stores. Inc., who was elected to a second term as NACS vice chairman of government relations
- Jeff Miller, president of Norfolk, Virginia-based Miller Oil Co. Inc., who was elected to a second term as vice chairman of member services
- Greg Parker, president of Savannah, Georgia-based The Parker Companies, who was elected vice chairman of research and technology
- Alvin New, president and CEO of San Angelo, TX-based Town and Country Food Stores Inc., who was elected vice chairman of NACSPAC
The NACS Show 2007 will take place November 6 to 9 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
