ALEXANDRIA, Va. – This year the NACS Show is providing an exciting slate of educational and Show floor sessions designed to help the industry expand its offer to some of today’s most influential convenience store shoppers: teen consumers.
Beginning October 8, Las Vegas will become home to NACS Show 2006. Attendees who want to learn more about how to attract, understand and retain teen consumers for years to come don’t want to miss out on the following Show sessions:
Teen Trendspotter Panels
On Monday, October 9 and Tuesday, October 10, from 4:15 to 5:00 p.m., a panel of teen “ambassadors” will share what products and services influence their buying decisions, top social concerns and what innovations and features keep them loyal to convenience stores. See what “Hot Picks” they found on the Show floor. Monday’s session focuses on non-alcoholic packaged and dispensed beverages. On Tuesday, the panel will feature their favorite picks in the candy and snacks categories.
Ideas 2 Go
On Tuesday, October 10, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the popular Ideas 2 Go video presentation session will highlight retailers in action as they demonstrate innovative ideas and what it takes to provide convenience, boost sales and win customer loyalty. See what some retailers are doing to attract teenage shoppers to their stores.
The Inside Track on Successfully Marketing to Teenagers
On Wednesday, October 11, from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m., learn more about how a cross-section of leading retailers has moved from insight to action in strengthening their business with teen shoppers. Retailers will share some of the practical things they’ve learned about building sales and loyalty among their teen consumers. Attendees will gain best practices insights on how to successfully use new shopper understanding to improve their business. The workshop also presents the latest results from studies conducted by members of the NACS Coca Cola Leadership Council and will give attendees will receive the “Top 10” take-away recommendations from the Council’s initiative on Building Loyalty with the Next Generation.
