NACStech 2006 Gets Underway
May 22, 2006

NASHVILLE, TN -- Music City USA has officially opened its doors to NACStech 2006. For the next three days, retailers and technology-oriented suppliers gather in Nashville to experience a robust slate of technology-focused workshops, general sessions and a record-setting exposition.

The first of NACStech’s 25 workshops will take place later today and will be followed by an Opening General Session address on “How to Get and Stay Focused on Goals” by Anthony Galie. Following Galie’s presentation, the opening networking reception will bring NACStech attendees together to catch up with colleagues and friends.

On Tuesday, the meeting kicks into high gear with an Early Riser Session featuring Jan Hargrave on the power of nonverbal communication.

Tuesday also marks the opening of the exposition. This year, the NACStech expo covers more than 20,000 net square feet and features more than 120 exhibiting companies, 34 of which are new to NACStech.

“NACStech provides a unique opportunity for retailers to focus on ways to use technology and improve their businesses,” said NACStech 2005 Chairman Don Stephenson, president of Cary Oil Co. Inc., noting that NACStech has evolved to become the number-one event for retailers and suppliers to keep their fingers on the pulse of technology innovations and industry advances.

NACS Daily will provide coverage of news from the workshops and the expo floor throughout the week. For more information, log on to the NACStech 2006 Web site.
