ALEXANDRIA, Va. – The upcoming NACS retail member call is switching gears to provide retailers an interactive Webinar that addresses food safety and implementing defensive measures to protect businesses and consumers against terrorism and criminal acts.

Tara Paster, president of Paster Training Inc., will lead an interactive discussion that focuses on the following topics: 

• Recognizing the importance of food defense
• Reversing the “it won't happen to me” attitude
• Identifying their role in food defense as a responsible manager
• Identifying and teaching employees appropriate food defense standard operating procedures

Participants will also receive a free “Food Defense Employee Orientation” form from Paster to help them implement food safety techniques covered during the Webinar.
