KANSAS CITY, Mo. — This summer's Hostess Race Divas "Start Your Engines" instant win game could land a lucky convenience store customer in the driver's seat of a brand new 2007 Mustang GT Deluxe.

The promotion kicked of on July 9 in U.S. convenience stores with specially marked snack packs of Hostess Twinkies, Hostess Cup Cakes and Hostess Donettes that feature an in-pack promotion code. By text messaging the promotion code to "'DIVAS' or '34827'" via a mobile phone, consumers will find out instantly if they are a potential winner.

In November 2005, Hostess announced that three of professional racing's leading women drivers – Danica Patrick (IRL), Melanie Troxel (NHRA) and Leilani Munter (NASCAR) – signed on to become Hostess "Race Divas" under a new sponsorship agreement with the Hostess brand. The racing sponsorship program features a range of promotional activities that leverage the Hostess brand with the enthusiasm that surrounds racing and women's increasing prominence in the sport.
