WILMINGTON, N.C. – On July 7, Worsley Companies hosted its 23rd annual Summer Swing Golf Tournament to benefit the local Cape Fear Boy Scouts of America chapter, according to a press release.

Nearly 200 supplier partners participated in the charity golf outing that took place at the Magnolia Greens Golf Plantation. The event raised nearly $80,000, bringing the event’s total fundraising amount to $750,000.

Proceeds raised during the event will help fund summer camp scholarships for local Boy Scouts and inner-city scouting programs.

Worsley Companies operates more than 120 Scotchman, Your Convenience! and Young’s convenience stores in North Carolina and South Carolina, as well as two truck stops in North Carolina.
