STAMFORD, Conn. – The Switch Beverage Company has introduced a hybrid juice-soda beverage that has 100 percent juice with carbonation called The Switch. Its 12-ounce glass bottles come in Black Cherry, Watermelon Strawberry, Orange Tangerine, Grape, Tropical Punch, Apricot peach, Orange Mango and Fruit Berry. Its 8.3-ounce slim cans come in Black Cherry, Grape, Orange Tangerine, Tropical Punch and Watermelon Strawberry.
Consumers are increasingly concerned about the nutritional value of their beverages, a company press release says.
“The Switch is the perfect balance of juice and carbonation,” said Maura Mottolese, president of The Switch Beverage Company. “Teens and young adults love it because it has the bold taste of a juice and the carbonated refreshment of a soft drink. Moms love it because it is a healthier alternative that their kids want to drink.”
