Cumberland Farms Gives $1,000 Gift to Local Children’s Program
January 18, 2007

TITUSVILLE, Fla. – In keeping with its corporate commitment to support youth causes in the communities it serves, Cumberland Farms presented a $1,000 donation to the Titusville Police Athletic League (PAL) to mark the opening of its new location in Titusville, Florida.

The cooperative effort of the Titusville Police Department and area businesses and citizens, PAL provides a safe place for kids between the ages of 7 and 18 to play. The program also gives children an opportunity to participate in organized athletics. The program was designed to use sports as an avenue to reach children who need positive values in their lives.

Cumberland Farms is a champion of the PALs program. Its donation reflects the company’s commitment to participating in the community. The Titusville store has a customer-friendly design with more square footage and wider shopping isles. The store also hosts the company’s signature Chill Zone—a selection of frozen drinks—plus a daily selection of fresh sandwiches and meals-on-the-go from its Fresh Sandwich line.
