FAIRBURN, Ga. – Geo. H. Green Oil Inc. is sharing the holiday spirit of giving by providing $25,000 in donations to local charities.
The company, a distributor of petroleum products throughout the metro Atlanta area for the past 80 years, topped last year’s total by more than $8,000.
"Through a great effort from Greenway Stores and Green Oil office employees, we were able to achieve fantastic results,” said Green Oil Director of Marketing Jim Callahan. “We are so grateful for terrific vendor partner support and a truly magnificent outpouring of what can only be termed ‘love’ from our valued customers.”
Among the charities benefiting from the contributions are the Empty Stocking Fund, which donates toys and clothing to underprivileged children; the Coweta County Welcome House Women’s Shelter; Fairburn’s In His Great Name Family Ministry; and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund, the company said in a press release.
“We are proud to report that the spirit and true meaning of Christmas is alive and well,” said Callahan.
