DAYTON, Ohio -- Yesterday, Time Warner Cable of Dayton, Ohio, and TIO Networks Corp. announced plans to launch a new bill payment service that will enable Time Warner Cable customers to pay their bills at 26 local convenience stores.
Customers can navigate through TIO applications in English or Spanish, and complete financial transactions by either printing or e-mailing their receipt to an e-mail address of their choice.
“We are thrilled to join forces with Time Warner Cable in offering additional payment options to their customers”, said Hamed Shahbazi, chairman and CEO of TIO Networks Corp. “TIO already has an established base of customers in Dayton who frequently pay their bills and will recognize the benefit and convenience of Time Warner’s new bill payment options.”
The Time Warner Cable bill payment service will be deployed this winter. There will be a $3 user fee per transaction.
In October, TIO Networks announced the deployment of more than 100 E-Wiz financial services kiosks in ExxonMobil On the Run and Tigermarket convenience stores in Dallas, Houston, Austin and San Antonio, Texas.
NACS Ideas 2 Go 2003 profiled Circle K’s ZapLink bill-payment kiosks, which featured Shahbazi, then chairman and CEO of Info Touch.
